DIY: Embroidery Floss hair wrap

  

You will need:

  • Embroidery Floss
  • Scissors
  • Hair!!!
  • Elastic Band
  • Mirror (If you aren't skilled... )

1. Get a small section of your hair, and braid it. 
2.Use a small elastic to tie it at the bottom
3. Use your embroidery floss and wrap it around your hair.
4. Then cut the embroidery floss.
5. Tie the ends of the floss that's on your hair...

YOU'RE DONE!!!

PS. If you use 2+ colors, cut them first, fold them in half, tie the middle to your hair, then wrap the colors around your hair...!

DIY Sim Halloween Costume

Hey DIYers! Today's DIY is perfect if you haven't figured out what to be for Halloween! I was thinking about cheap, but clever Halloween costumes that would be really really recognizable, and I came up with.... a DIY Sim Halloween Costume! Let's get started with the DIY!

What you'll need:
- A plain headband the color of your hair
- THIS template
- Scissors
- Tape or Glue
- Hot Glue
- 3 feet of long, sturdy (can hold up a little weight without bending), thin wire

Steps:
1. Print out THIS template on green paper (OR, USE MARKERS AND COLOR IT IN!)
2. Cut out each half of the sim plumbob (the diamond-y shape) on the DOTTED lines.
3. Fold on the solid lines of each half of the plumbob, and fold the tabs inward
4. Tape or glue the tabs to form each half of the plumbob.
5. Tape or blue each half of the plumbob together, to create the final plumbob.
6. Puncture a tip of the plumbob with the long, sturdy, thin wire.

DIY Last Minute Halloween Costumes 2016

Hey DIYers! If you haven't come up with your halloween costume this year, this post is perfect for you. Today I'll be showing you 3 DIY Last Minute Halloween Costumes. By Last-Minute, I mean Last Minute!!! These costumes are easy, and cheap. Let's get started!

1. An Avocado!
Who loves guacamole? Avocados? Well then this first costume is perfect for you!

You will need:
- A green shirt that's colored the same color as the "shell" of an avocado
- Light green felt
- Brown felt
- Safety pins
- Scissors

Steps:
1. Using scissors, cut out an avocado shape with the light green felt. (See picture below for an example)
2. Using scissors, cut out a circle that's significantly smaller than the light green felt.
3. Attach the light green avocado shape to your shirt with safety pins.
4. Attach the brown felt to the center of the light green felt using safety pins.
