DIY Frayed Denim Shorts

Hey DIYers, it's summer right now, which means you're probably going summer shopping.... a LOT! Today's DIY should save you a few bucks on your summer haul, because it is DIY Frayed Denim Shorts! These are so easy, and are in style right now, so let's get started!

What you'll need:
- A pair of jeans that you like from the thrift shop! (You can get jeans as low as $3 from Plato's closet!)
- Fabric Scissors (not regular scissors!)
- Tweezers
- Sharpie

Steps:
1. After washing the jeans. put on the jeans.
2. Using the sharpie, make a mark on the jeans where you want to cut them. Please remember: it's better to cut the jeans too long than too short!
3. Take the jeans off!
4. Using the fabric scissors, cut the jeans where you made the mark!
5. Now, using the tweezers, gently pick at the ends of the jeans. Little denim stringy things should start to show!
6. Continue pulling the denim strings (but don't pull them out; leave them connected to the jeans) to your liking.
7. You're done!

I was thinking about cheap, but clever Halloween costumes that would be really really recognizable, and I came up with.... a DIY Sim Halloween Costume! Let's get started with the DIY! DIY Unlimited Customizable Phone Case!

Hey DIYers! Today's DIY, I think, is one of my most favorite DIY ideas ever! It's a DIY phone case, but better yet, it can be customized... UNLIMITED TIMES! This DIY is PERFECT for people on a budget, because instead of getting multiple phone cases, you only need 1! What you'll need: - A clear phone case - Cardstock Paper - Pencil - Markers, Washi tape, glitter, stickers... Whatever you want to make your phone case look amazing! - Exacto Knife (Please get parent's permission!) Steps: 1. Using your pencil, trace the phone case, including the camera hole. 2. Use an exacto knife to cut the shape out! 3. Try to fit the paper in the case. Most likely it'll be a little too big because the outside of the case is bigger than the inside, so trim the paper accordingly to fit the inside of the phone case. 4.
