2 DIY's FOR YOUR OWN TUMBLR ROOM!!!

Everyone has been asking me what's a tumblr room? how do I get one? Tumblr Rooms are rooms obviously really popular on Tumblr, and are makeovers for your room to make them feel more cozy and Tumblr-ish. I'm going to give you 2 different DIY's you can do to make your room a Tumblr Room!



DIY LANTERN LIGHTS

Almost all the tumblr bedrooms you see are famous for their glowing lights! To make these super cute latern strand of lights, all you'll need is

  • Amount of Clear Plastic Cups as there is lights 
  • Christmas Lights
  • Sharp Knife (ASK AN ADULT FOR HELP!)
  • And last but not least, you guys know how much I love my Washi tape!
1. cover each plastic cup with washi tape but not inside! you can do it on the base of the cup but as shown below in the pic, I didn't.
2. Make a slit with your knife small enough for your Christmas light bulbs to go in but not come out 
3. Put all the lights inside the cups!
4. Hang it over your bed or over a poster! You're done!




DIY ONLY 2 MATERIALS GLITTER PIPE-CLEANER PENS

You don't see these in many Tumblr Bedrooms but it's perfect because it gives your room so chic style! Also, it makes writing more fun and fuzzy. YASSSSS FOR FUZZ ☺ I used pens because you don't have to sharpen them.

Materials Include:

  • Skinny and plain Pens 
  • Glitter Pipe-Cleaners (They can be found at any local craft store!)

1. Use your pipe-cleaner and wrap it around your pencil. You can do it tight like to the right                         ---------------------------->

or you can do it loosly like below


You don't ned to tape or glue them because the wire in them should help keep its shape.

DIY Sea Salt Hair Spray for Beachy Waves

Hey everyone! Even though it's summer, I don't have access to a beach. It's actually quite sad because one of my favorite parts about swimming in the ocean is the effect it gives my hair- beachy waves! That's why today's DIY is perfect for people like me (without access to a beach): it's DIY Sea Salt Hair Spray that makes your hair form into beachy waves! Let's get started! You'll need: - A spray bottle - Small bowl of warm water (not boiling but warmer than room temperature) - 3 teaspoons of Sea Salt - 1/4 teaspoon coconut oil - 3 squirts of hair gel Steps: 1. Pour the salt into the bowl of warm water and stir. 2. Add in the coconut oil, and stir. 3. Add in the hair gel, and stir. 4. Carefully pour the mixture into the spray bottle. 5.
