DIY Polaroid Photos WITHOUT a Polaroid Camera!

Hey DIYers! Today I'm going to show you how to make DIY Polaroid Photos WITHOUT a Polaroid camera. Polaroid cameras cost SO much money, plus you have to buy the film, and in my opinion, it's not worth the expense when you can just make your own polaroids for super cheap! Let's get started. You will need: - Copy and paste  this polaroid border in Microsoft Word. Resize as needed, and then print. - An exacto knife - White cardstock paper (or you can use others if you don't want the classic polaroid frame color) - Your own photos that will fit inside the polaroid frame. - A pencil - Scotch tape Steps: 1. Using your exacto knife, carefully out the center of the polaroid frame you printed. 2. Trace the polaroid frame on your cardstock paper. 3. Use the exacto knife to cut out the center of your cardstock polaroid frames. 4. Tape your photos to the polaroid frames. You're done! I hope you enjoyed this DIY tutorial for DIY Polaroid Photos! Tip: If you f...

DIY Calendar!

Hey DIYers, happy 2018! I hope you all had a fun and safe night last night. Today's DIY is a DIY Calendar! Yes, you'll be a few days behind from crossing off each day as it passes, but you'll catch up in no time. Let's get started! You will need: - Balsa wood - A black marker - C-hooks - 12 instax polaroid photos - Small blank cards - A hole punch - A craft knife - A glue gun - A ruler Steps: 1. Cut two pieces of balsa wood that are the same size with a craft knife. My pieces were 21cm long which fitted 3 cards with room around them. I suggest you measure out your cards in case they are a different size. 2. Paint one or both pieces of your balsa wood however you would like them to suit your room. One coat of acrylic works fine if it's a dark colour but you may need a few coats for something lighter. 3. Measure up where to put your hooks that will fit 3 different cards on one piece of wood. Then you should easily be able to screw them in. 4. Assemble...

DIY Riverdale Halloween Costumes

Hey everyone! I know I’m a little late to jump on the train,  but I recently become obsessed with the TV show, Riverdale!  I think the characters of Riverdale will be like last year‘s Suicide Squad Halloween costumes:  as in they will be the most popular.  Even I’m going to be Veronica!  Let’s get started! 1. Archie Andrews  I love Archie in the show.  He cares about his friends, and honestly, I wish more boys in real life were as sweet as he is. I totally ship him with Veronica, #Varchie, and can we please mention... how freaking hot KJ Apa is?! You will need: - Blue and Yellow Varisty Jacket with a Yellow R taped/stitched on.  Not gonna lie, varsity jackets expensive, so might as well buy this already-made one from Amazon. - Jeans - White shirt - Any shoes of your choice - Red hairspray dye (optional) 2. Betty  OK.  Betty kind of scares me because of how sweet and how angry she is at the same time. Nonetheless, I lo...
