Hey DIYers! I've been obsessed with matte lipsticks recently, but they can get kind of expensive, so here's a DIY for you all to MAKE your own matte lipsticks for only a few bucks! Lets get started! You will need: - Non-Matte Lipstick - Baby powder - Tissue - Lip balm Steps: 1. Moisturize your lips with a lip balm. Don't have one? You can make one using my DIY EOS Lip Balm tutorial! 2. Apply your lipstick like you normally would. 3. Use a tissue to blot off the excess. See below for example: 4. Shake a little bit of baby powder in your hand. 5. Use a finger to dab a little of the baby powder on your lips. You're done! I hope you enjoyed this DIY tutorial for DIY Matte Lipstick! I love eating holiday candy which is why today's DIY has my mouth watering! It's DIY Candy Cane Chocolate Bark in the shape of Hearts! How cute, right?! Let's get started. You will need: - Mini candy canes - Chocolate melts (Optional colors, but since this involves candy canes and this DIY is Christmas-y themed, I'd use Christmas color chocolate melts...) - Sprinkles! - Microwave - Microwavable bowls - Metal Cookie Sheet Steps: 1. Place two candy canes on the cookie sheet in the shape of a heart. (You can do this with multiple candy canes, you just need two to make the heart shape.) 2. Melt the chocolate melts in the bowls. 3. Pour the chocolate into the candy cane hearts. 4. Sprinkle on some Sprinkles! Wait fifteen minutes or until the chocolate is completely hardened. Hey everyone! In winter, skin gets very dry. That's why today's DIY is so perfect; it will help you achieve soft skin! Today's DIY is DIY Sugar Scrub, and because it is the holiday's, this sugar scrub looks like a candy cane, and smells like peppermint. Yum! (No, this is not edible. Well technically it is... but I wouldn't eat it...) Let's get started! You will need: - Red Food Coloring - Peppermint Essentials Oil - Mason Jar - 2 cups of Sugar - 1/4 cup of Coconut Oil - Two spoons - A cup with a flat bottom - One medium/large sized bowl - Two cereal-sized bowls Steps: Pour sugar into a medium/large sized bowl. Stir in the coconut oil. Add a few drops of the Peppermint Essentials Oil (a little goes a long way, so a few drops actually means a few drops!). Divide the sugar and coconut oil mixture into two equal sized portions into the two cereal-sized bowls. Mix in a few drops of red food coloring to one bowl (be careful not to add to much or yo...

Because it is the Holiday's, I'm sure many of you are doing some baking! I know I am, at least. Today's DIY is a DIY Frosting Piping bag. If you're baking and realize you forget to buy some piping bags, this DIY will save your LIFE! It's very simple too. Let's get started! You will need: - A plastic bag - A Butter Knife - Scissors - A cup - Your frosting! Steps: 1. Put the bag into the cup like so: 2. Put your frosting in the sandwich bag using the butter knife. 3. Take the bag out of the cup, and push the frosting into one of the corners of the bag. 4. Twist the remaining of the bag so the frosting is packed together. (Does that make sense?) 5. Using scissors, cut off the tip of that corner. If you want to do detailed frosting work, make just a snippet. Or if you want to just frost cupcakes, you can make a bigger cut. You're done! Hey DIYers! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, but I think today's post will make up for it. :)) I love Thanksgiving, and I love peanut butter, so what's better than a DIY with them combined? Today's DIY is DIY Thanksgiving Acorn Treats. I think they are incredibly adorable, as well as yummy, and your family is sure to love them. You will need: - Circular Nutter Butters - Chocolate Kisses - Super mini chocolate chips - Peanut Butter - Fork - Napkin Steps: 1. Unwrap the chocolate kiss from the foil. 2. Take apart the nutter butter. You can eat the side without the peanut butter. :) 3. Using the nutter butter side with the peanut butter on it, stick it to the chocolate kiss. If it doesn't stick well, use a little bit of peanut butter. USE A NAPKIN WHEN HANDLING THE KISS OR IT'LL MELT IN YOUR HANDS! 4. By Last-Minute, I mean Last Minute!!! These costumes are easy, and cheap. Let's get started! 1. An Avocado! Who loves guacamole? Avocados? Well then this first costume is perfect for you! You will need: - A green shirt that's colored the same color as the "shell" of an avocado - Light green felt - Brown felt - Safety pins - Scissors Steps: 1. Using scissors, cut out an avocado shape with the light green felt. (See picture below for an example) 2. Using scissors, cut out a circle that's significantly smaller than the light green felt. 3.
