DIY Cool Mug Design out of Nail Polish

OMMMMMGGGGGG SORRY I'VE BEEN ABSENT FOR LIKE, FOREVER!!! Hi Diyers, Today's DIY is DIY is a really cute mug with a design made of nail polish! It's basically like doing watermarble nail art, except you don't paint your nails; you paint the cup! What You'll Need: - Nail Polishes of your choice (However you need a LOT of nail polish!) - Big tub/box that can hold water! - A white mug - A toothpick - Water - Top coat - Base coat - Paint brush - Tape (Optional) Steps: 1. Before doing anything, fully wash your mug. 2. Using the paintbrush, paint whatever spot you will be marbling with the base coat. (Optional: I recommend covering the mug with tape before you do this, so that you know exactly where the base coat is, and so that the design (later in the tutorial) doesn't get on places on the mug where you don't want it to be.) 3. While drying, fill the big tub/box 3/4 of water. 4. Drop several drops of nail polish on the surface of the water. Th...

DIY Unlimited Customizable Phone Case!

Hey DIYers! Today's DIY, I think, is one of my most favorite DIY ideas ever! It's a DIY phone case, but better yet, it can be customized... UNLIMITED TIMES! This DIY is PERFECT for people on a budget, because instead of getting multiple phone cases, you only need 1! What you'll need: - A clear phone case - Cardstock Paper - Pencil - Markers, Washi tape, glitter, stickers... Whatever you want to make your phone case look amazing! - Exacto Knife (Please get parent's permission!) Steps: 1. Using your pencil, trace the phone case, including the camera hole. 2. Use an exacto knife to cut the shape out! 3. Try to fit the paper in the case. Most likely it'll be a little too big because the outside of the case is bigger than the inside, so trim the paper accordingly to fit the inside of the phone case. 4. Once the paper fits inside the phone case, decorate it however you'd like! The only thing is that you CANNOT make the design 3D (like glitter glue that r...

DIY Color Coded Keys (2 ways!)

Hi DIYers, how's your 2016 been so far?! Mine's has been okay. :) Today's DIY is 2 ways to color code your keys. Detecting which key goes to my house, my car, and my diary (hahaha) is really hard, so that's why color coding is the best option! Here are the two ways you can color code your keys! 1. Nail polish You can color code your keys by painting the tops of them (or the whole key if preferable) with nail polish! This is a fun way to color code because there are so many types of nail polish, like glitter, neon, matte, etc. 2. Tattoos! You can color code your keys by... putting temporary tattoos on them? YES! You read that right. Get a small, square tattoo. Place it on the head of the key, (or the whole key if preferable), and place a warm-wet washcloth on the tattoo. Leave it there for a few minutes, and then take off the washcloth. Then, remove the tattoo paper. Clean up excess tattoo GENTLY, using a toothpick. (It's like doing water marble nail art...
