DIY Slime!

Hey DIYers, today's post is DIY Slime! This DIY is so easy, and the slime is really fun to play with! Let's get started! What you'll need: - 4 fluid oz of Glue (I recommend using Elmer's school glue. See picture below to see what that looks like!). If you use a clear glue, you will get clear slime, and if you use a gel glue, you'll get this transparent-looking slime. - Borax 1tsp - 1 & 1/3 cups of Water 1cup (mixed with glue) 1/3 cup (mixed with Borax) - 2 small Bowls, 1 large one - A Spatula - Optional: glitter, food coloring, or other embellishments! Steps: 1. In one of the small bowls, mix 1tsp of Borax with 1/3 of the water. 2. In the other small bowl, mix 1 cup of water with your entire container of glue. 3. Pour both substances into the bigger bowl, and start stirring with the spatula immediately. You will start to notice that these two substances react to each other very quickly, and that in the bigger bowl will be this slime-like substance....

DIY Unlimited Customizable Phone Case!

Hey DIYers! Today's DIY, I think, is one of my most favorite DIY ideas ever! It's a DIY phone case, but better yet, it can be customized... UNLIMITED TIMES! This DIY is PERFECT for people on a budget, because instead of getting multiple phone cases, you only need 1! What you'll need: - A clear phone case - Cardstock Paper - Pencil - Markers, Washi tape, glitter, stickers... Whatever you want to make your phone case look amazing! - Exacto Knife (Please get parent's permission!) Steps: 1. Using your pencil, trace the phone case, including the camera hole. 2. Use an exacto knife to cut the shape out! 3. Try to fit the paper in the case. Most likely it'll be a little too big because the outside of the case is bigger than the inside, so trim the paper accordingly to fit the inside of the phone case. 4. Once the paper fits inside the phone case, decorate it however you'd like! The only thing is that you CANNOT make the design 3D (like glitter glue that r...

DIY Color Coded Keys (2 ways!)

Hi DIYers, how's your 2016 been so far?! Mine's has been okay. :) Today's DIY is 2 ways to color code your keys. Detecting which key goes to my house, my car, and my diary (hahaha) is really hard, so that's why color coding is the best option! Here are the two ways you can color code your keys! 1. Nail polish You can color code your keys by painting the tops of them (or the whole key if preferable) with nail polish! This is a fun way to color code because there are so many types of nail polish, like glitter, neon, matte, etc. 2. Tattoos! You can color code your keys by... putting temporary tattoos on them? YES! You read that right. Get a small, square tattoo. Place it on the head of the key, (or the whole key if preferable), and place a warm-wet washcloth on the tattoo. Leave it there for a few minutes, and then take off the washcloth. Then, remove the tattoo paper. Clean up excess tattoo GENTLY, using a toothpick. (It's like doing water marble nail art...
